Starbucks announced that it will exchange the 'Summer Carry Bag', a gift for customers suspected of detecting the carcinogen formaldehyde, for a drink coupon starting today (23rd).
Starbucks apologized for causing concern, saying, "We are conducting a separate test for detection of harmful substances, and the results will come out within a week to ten days."
Yesterday, on an anonymous community of office workers, an article was posted that formaldehyde was detected in the Starbucks summer carry bag, and Starbucks said that the bag is not included in the safety standards, but it is being exchanged.
