It is said that the three things that received a lot of consent will be selected and reflected in the state affairs, and the topic of abolishing the mandatory closure of hypermarkets currently received the most 'likes'.

Those in favor argue that even if the closure is mandatory, traditional markets will not survive.

Since the introduction of sales regulations, the market share of traditional markets as well as large marts has fallen, but most have moved online.

Conversely, small business groups are of the position that the mandatory shutdown has already been declared constitutional by the Constitutional Court, and should be maintained as long as the infringement of alley rights is still there.

Experts advise that if the government wants to tackle this problem, it should come up with a plan to revive the local commercial area and proceed.

[Seo Yong-gu/Professor of Business Administration at Sookmyung Women's University (former president of the Distribution Association): We need to help local merchants by building a parking lot they want and paying arrears for donations, or through various win-win ways to live together...

.]

Even if the government is trying to loosen the regulations on mart business, it is pointed out that social consensus must be formed first because the law must be amended by the National Assembly.
