Keidanren's summer forum, in which top executives of major companies participate, closed on the 22nd, and Prime Minister Kishida attended, summarizing recommendations to the government for further promotion of policies for fostering start-up companies and realizing decarbonization. I handed it to the minister.

At the Keidanren Summer Forum held in Karuizawa Town, Nagano Prefecture, about 40 business owners held a two-day discussion on the theme of "sustainable capitalism."

On the final day, the 22nd, the proposals to the government were compiled, and Keidanren Chairman Tokura and Vice Chairman Kuniharu Nakamura, who chaired the forum, handed them to Prime Minister Kishida who attended.

The recommendation is to steadily implement policies to increase the number of startups and other companies by 10 times in five years, and to maximize investment for the realization of decarbonization in the public and private sectors, and restart the nuclear power plant. We are calling for the decarbonization of energy, such as new expansion, and the promotion of policies that integrate economy, security, and diplomacy.

According to Keidanren, the incumbent Prime Minister has attended the summer forum for the first time since Prime Minister Abe in 2014.

Prime Minister Kishida also attended the social gathering that followed and exchanged greetings with top management.
