Hamdan bin Mohammed launches Dubai Metavirus strategy
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, today launched the Dubai Metaverse Strategy.
His Highness said in a tweet on his official account on Twitter: "Today we launched the Dubai Metaverse Strategy, the next revolution in the technological and economic field that will affect all aspects of life over the next two decades. We have 1,000 companies in Dubai currently working in this sector, which contributes $500 million to the Our national economy...and our expectations that it will rise strongly during the coming period."
His Highness added: "Our goal by launching an integrated plan for metaverse at this early time for this technology is to be among the top ten cities that will shape this sector globally.. Dubai was and will remain a precedent for others globally.. because Mohammed bin Rashid has proven to the world over and over again the correctness of his future and development vision that Made Dubai.
