The Ioniq 6 will be offered in several variants.

The 77.4 kWh battery (more than 610 km of autonomy) can be associated with two types of architecture: propulsion with a single motor, or four-wheel drive with 2 motors, with a combined power of 325 hp and a torque of 605 Nm. The basic version will have a 53 kWh battery.

Its average consumption is estimated at 14 kWh/100 km.

Connected to a 350 kW DC terminal, recharging from 10 to 80% will only take 18 minutes.

Like the Ioniq 5, it will also be possible to use the car battery as a power source for external consumers.

This model also benefits from what can be considered Hyundai's most aerodynamic design to date (Cd of 0.21) and a range of thought-provoking features, such as two-tone ambient lighting, Speed Sync (interior lighting changes depending on speed), EV Performance Tune-up (simply several configurable driving modes) and Electric Active Sound Design (e-ASD).

Depending on the market, Hyundai will also offer Relaxation Comfort seats allowing adjustments conducive to rest in case you cannot find a terminal delivering 350 kW, and you are therefore forced to take a much longer break than 18 minutes!

Of course, the classic Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be included, as will semi-autonomous driving (keeping your hands on the wheel).

Production of the Ioniq 6 is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2022, with deliveries in Europe expected before the end of the year.

Pricing has yet to be announced.
