DEWA completes 57% of the construction of "micro-filtration plants for water" in Hatta

The completion rate of the construction of micro-filtration plants for water with a micro-distillation system implemented by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority in the Hatta region has reached 57% and is expected to be completed before the end of this year.

These stations work on refining and sterilizing the water of the Hatta Dam for use only in emergencies, as they will be relied upon in the event of any malfunctions in the water transmission and distribution networks from Dubai to Hatta.

The stations have a capacity of three million gallons of water per day, at a cost of 19 million dirhams.

The fully automated stations are characterized by providing sustainable, safe and highly efficient solutions through the use of the latest innovative global technologies.
