Rosstat reported a slowdown in annual inflation in Russia to 15.9% in June

"In June 2022, compared to May 2022, the consumer price index was 99.65%, compared to December 2021 - 111.41%," the statement said.

The service noted that annual inflation in Russia in June 2022 amounted to 15.9% against 17.1% in May.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during a meeting on economic issues, said that Russia managed to bring inflation under control.
