Dubai South Properties launches 'South Bay' project
Dubai South Properties has announced the launch of 'South Bay', a new residential project located in the heart of the residential area of Dubai South.
The project will include more than 800 villas and townhouses, and more than 200 luxury waterfront villas, in addition to a one-kilometer-long crystal lake, and a 3-kilometre waterfront promenade that will include private beaches for swimming and recreation.
The townhouses and villas in South Bay will be developed over a built-up area of approximately 2,900 to 4,800 square feet, and will offer a diverse mix of three, four and five rooms.
As for the luxury stand-alone villas that will all be built on the waterfront with wide views, they will be five, six or seven bedroom villas with a construction area of 13,000 square feet.
The project occupies a strategic location directly on Expo Street, and includes a wide range of world-class facilities, such as a shopping mall, fitness complex, special clubs for children, swimming pools, a water sports club, as well as cafes overlooking the waterfront, creating private gardens around the lake and many services and facilities other.

Other amenities in the residential area include a school in the near future, parks, sports fields, retail stores and a hypermarket (opening in October).
The list of facilities also includes a mosque, a petrol station and a public bus route linking the residential area with the Expo metro station.
South Bay sales will be launched next September, and customers can register their interest now.
The company will announce more information about the project in due course.
