It is reported by RBC.

The system is based on the principle of a traffic light: depending on the three “colors”, the level of reliability of the client is determined.

The platform calculates that there were no strange transfers from his accounts, which may relate to the legalization of funds obtained by criminal means and other suspicious transactions with counterparties.

The "green" group is the most successful option for the counterparty.

In this case, there should not be any serious restrictions.

Clients from the “red”, or high-risk, are limited even in standard services: drawing up an agreement, terminating it, conducting account transactions.

“The KYC platform will be regarded as a “public traffic light”, through which any business participant will be able to find out how his activities are assessed by the Bank of Russia and how the operations of his counterparties are assessed.

This is important for building transparent and long-term business relationships,” said Alexei Voylukov, Vice President of the Association of Banks of Russia.

On June 30, it was reported that the Central Bank increased the limit of transfers abroad for individuals to $1 million per month.
