CGNPC Huizhou Nuclear Power said that since the construction of Taipingling Nuclear Power Unit 1 started at the end of 2019, the engineering design, equipment manufacturing, civil construction and installation operations have progressed steadily, and it has now entered a key stage of parallel conversion from the peak of civil construction to the peak of installation.
According to reports, "Hualong No. 1", as China's independent third-generation nuclear power technology, has the advantages of high safety, mature and reliable technology, strong industrial supporting capabilities, and good economy. It has the characteristics of balance, combination of active and passive" and so on. At present, the localization rate of equipment is nearly 90%.
