May industrial production index declines for the second straight month, 7.2% below the previous month

The industrial production index for May and last month, which shows the production activities of companies, was 88.3 with 2015 as 100, down 7.2% from the previous month for the second consecutive month.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has revised down the keynote judgment of a company's production activities from "stuck" to "production is weak".
