Earlier it was reported that the Russian government is imposing a moratorium on tax authorities’ audits of compliance with currency laws from June 1 until the end of 2022.

The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

According to the document, the majority of control measures on compliance with currency legislation will be suspended.

Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said that the number of business inspections - both scheduled and unscheduled - in the country has decreased by six times compared to last year.
