Regarding this, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Kaneko said at a meeting after the Cabinet meeting on the 28th, the number of contracts for cheap rate plans introduced by major mobile phone companies since February last year reached about 40.5 million as of the end of last month. In the one year since May last year, it has increased more than 2.5 times, and it is said that it accounts for about 27% of contracts for general users.
