Dans wins the Government Technology Award for the best cybersecurity solutions
The Dubai Air Navigation Services Corporation (dans) won the “Government Technology Award” for the best cybersecurity solutions for the year 2022.
Dans operates the air traffic of four airports in the UAE, including Dubai International Airport, which is considered the world's busiest airport in terms of the number of international passengers.
Dans was selected for its implementation of a world-leading cybersecurity initiative that relies on the digital cloud, provides comprehensive protection that prevents piracy, and is compatible with the scale and complex working environment of the flight handling activity.
Dans' platform architecture also uses cloud-based artificial intelligence to provide real-time protection and transparency across the enterprise, preventing attacks on endpoints and workloads, both on and off the network.
The award was handed over to the Dubai Air Navigation Services Corporation in a special ceremony held at the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm Dubai.
The Government Technology Awards highlight innovations and innovative IT pioneers in leading government agencies that develop solutions, initiatives and programs aimed at improving the quality of life for people in the UAE.
The awards are given by TahawulTech.com, the platform specialized in enterprise technology and cybersecurity in the Middle East.
