Brazilian companies secure deals worth $648 million during Expo 2020 Dubai

According to an official statement, 1,030 Brazilian companies, which formed part of the Brazilian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, succeeded in securing trade deals worth $648 million during the event, with expectations of additional deals worth $3.4 billion over the next 12 months in the sectors of Food, cosmetics, furniture, aerospace, leather, oil and gas.


The Commissioner-General of the Brazilian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Elias Martins Filho, said: "The Brazil Pavilion, which was ranked among the five most visited pavilions in the exhibition, hosted more than 2.1 million visitors, with an average of 11,700 visitors per day during the six-day event. Months".

He continued, "We are determined to enhance the impact of the results achieved at (Expo Dubai), and continue to build on the momentum and great opportunities in our journey towards (Expo 2025 Osaka - Kansai)."

He added, "The pavilion organized 20 events ranging from introductory and cultural exhibitions and culinary shows, including 270 musical performances, 460 amazing dance shows and six cooking shows, as well as 32 presentations for partners, and 12 cultural exchange and gastronomic events with other participating pavilions."

Filho stressed that the Brazil pavilion presented more than 150 business programs, as six memoranda of understanding were signed with the participation of 805 business leaders, 59% of whom are Brazilian, while the others belong to 39 other countries. _ Brazil” in Dubai, investments worth more than one billion dollars in multiple projects of a global nature.
