Japan Display, which mainly produces LCD panels for smartphones and automobiles, has positioned six fields such as EV = electric vehicles and VR = virtual reality as future growth fields, and is strengthening the development of new products.

On the 22nd, the latest panel technology was unveiled at a venue in Tokyo, of which the display mounted on the driver's seat of a car is characterized by being able to be processed into a curved surface according to the design of the car, and needs are increasing mainly for EVs. In addition, the display used for VR goggles has achieved about five times the vividness of a general smartphone screen by increasing the number of pixels.
