“Taking this opportunity, I am pleased to invite representatives of your states to the Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok in early September, where many issues relevant to the business community of the BRICS countries will also be discussed,” Putin said in a greeting to the participants of the BRICS business forum.
Earlier, Alexei Chekunkov, Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, said that Vladivostok would remain the main venue for the Eastern Economic Forum for the foreseeable future.
