And rightly so, since the Franco-Romanian alliance is now reaping the fruits of its perseverance: with soaring prices at the pump, LPG is more courted than ever.

Its advantage: the price.

But not only... Because LPG also reduces CO2 emissions.

Unloved because misunderstood

LPG (for liquefied petroleum gas) has however suffered from preconceived ideas, such as "it's dangerous and it pollutes".

But the constant rise in the price of traditional fuels (especially recently), has put it back on the front of the stage.

In 2010, Dacia launched a first model fitted as standard with dual-fuel petrol-LPG.

No need to go to a transformer: the car leaves the factory with an adapted engine, a perfectly integrated tank, and now even an on-board computer with a double gauge and an LPG consumption display.

For Dacia, the LPG bet pays off.

Their Sandero, Duster and Jogger ECO-G are indeed conquering an increasingly large audience.

A success due to the very attractive purchase price, but also to the almost unbeatable cost of use.

Because even if the liter of LPG has doubled in one year, it remains more than one euro cheaper than gasoline, which largely compensates for the 15% increase in consumption.

far for cheap

Notice to frequent travellers: the Dacia EGO-G 100 engine can often cover more than 1000 km with a full tank… of two tanks, since the petrol tank is kept.

With a good environmental balance as a bonus, the combustion of LPG rejects 10% less CO2 than gasoline, and practically no fine particles.

All this with mechanical characteristics in the standard, times and driving pleasure are therefore there.

Knowing that a Dacia LPG is not more expensive than a petrol version, and that it is covered by a 3-year / 100,000 km warranty, why deprive yourself?
