Javier Bardají replaces Silvio González as CEO of Atresmedia.

Atresmedia has held a meeting of the Board of Directors to vote favorably on the appointment, subsequently transmitted to the company's Management Committee and notified to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

González has led Atresmedia for 14 years and leaves his position with Antena 3 as audience leader, a position he reissued in May for the seventh consecutive month after breaking the hegemony of Telecinco, from the rival group Mediaset, last year.

Likewise, La Sexta is consolidated as the third private channel in the market in number of viewers.
