“The growth of oil and gas revenues amounted to 2.8% of GDP and is associated with an increase in oil and gas prices, a surge in the US dollar, changes in the terms of the OPEC + agreement, as well as a number of adjustments to tax and customs legislation, including as part of the continuation of the tax maneuver,” the minister said at a government meeting.

In his report, he drew attention to the execution of the budgets of the regions, where there is a positive trend in terms of increasing their own revenues.

“We see that the share of the regions' own income is growing every year.

So, as of April 1 of this year, regional budget revenues increased by 28% compared to the same period last year,” Siluanov added.

Earlier, the minister noted that the total expenditures of the Russian budget in 2022 will amount to 26 trillion rubles.
