The ruble index of the Moscow Exchange exceeded 2400 points for the first time since May 30

As of 18:22 Moscow time, the Moscow Exchange index rose by 2.01% to 2401.26 points.

At the same time, the RTS index grew by 2.99%, amounting to 1354.74 points.

Earlier, the dollar during trading fell to the level of 2015 - below 55.5 rubles. 

Associate Professor of the Moscow State University Department of Public Policy, Candidate of Economic Sciences Yuri Yudenkov, in an interview with RT, predicted a further strengthening of the ruble.
