human dimension

The head of the Rental Dispute Resolution Center in Dubai, Judge Abdul Qader Musa, thanked Harbor Real Estate for its contribution.

He said, "While carrying out the tasks of separating the disputants in cases, the center encounters a number of humanitarian cases that require consideration from an ethical and social perspective," considering that observing the human dimension is a key factor in the disputes between the owner and the tenant that are presented to it.

Moussa added: “There are three main tributaries to the humanitarian cases that the center is looking into, the first of which is the humanitarian cases that submit their requests to the “Yad al-Khair” committee, and their case is carefully studied by the committee. The humanitarian aspect is taken into account, as some cases of eviction are linked to humanitarian dimensions, such as the presence of children, patients, or the elderly, and there are humanitarian cases submitted by the execution officer to the center by writing a report if they comply with the standards and deserve assistance.

He pointed out that the third of these tributaries is the cases in which the second party is imprisoned, and in which there is a humanitarian aspect, as these have become deprived of their freedom, and therefore no papers are required from them, and their problems are solved.

Moussa stressed that the application of the law comes in the first place, but there are many cases received by the center bearing humanitarian dimensions, and the center takes them into account in its procedures in accordance with the spirit of the law and the spirit of the city of Dubai, and its keenness to present the humanitarian aspect over the material aspects.

He stressed that the center uses the sums collected from philanthropic donors to help troubled families and relieve their distress in paying rents.

system and standards

It has its own humanitarian conditions, so the center studies the humanitarian cases that reach it with precision, and this is proven by documents, especially for cases that are excluded from the financial ceiling, as they are presented after all the papers are completed to the head of the center for approval.”

And he indicated that the center has established a system to determine the humanitarian cases deserving of assistance, which includes several criteria, including that the owner of the humanitarian case fills out the "Hand of Goodness" committee form to help the distressed, and includes it in a report on the humanitarian situation and its observations.
