Egypt .. a significant drop in gold prices for the first time in 3 months

Gold prices in Egypt collapsed until they reached their lowest level in more than three months, reaching less than 1,000 pounds per gram of 21 karat.

According to the latest update today, Friday, June 10, 2022, the price of gold from a gram of 21 karat, the most sought after in Egypt, fell to the level of 997 pounds, which is the lowest level in about three months, after it had earlier reached the level of 1275 pounds.

The General Division of Gold and Gold Works of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce confirmed the decline in gold prices in the global and local markets, to record 21 karat level below 1,000 pounds for the first time in three months.

And according to the “Cairo 24” website, the price of a gram of 24 karat gold fell to 1139 pounds, while the price of a gram of 21 karat gold, the most traded in Egypt and Upper Egypt, fell to 997 pounds, and the price of a gram of 18 karat gold, the most traded in Lower Egypt, fell to 854 pounds, and the price of a 21-carat gold pound, weighing 8 grams, was 8000 pounds, and an ounce amounted to about 1845 dollars.
