When asked about the disconnection of consumers who did not agree with the new rules, Peskov said that they were "already disconnected."
He noted that no new shutdowns are planned.
“The system is working, the system has been adjusted, and those who receive gas, they are already working according to the new system, which is spelled out in the corresponding decree of the President of Russia,” Peskov said.
Earlier, Gazprom confirmed the cessation of gas supplies to the Danish company Ørsted, as well as to the Shell division in Germany due to non-payment in rubles.
