With its Future Trophies, Europe 1 rewards companies, associations or local authorities each year for their audacity, their innovation and their visionary side.

In the running for the Solidarity Trophy, La Cravate solidaire fights against discrimination in hiring linked to physical appearance.

It's not easy to find a job when you don't have enough to dress properly for a job interview.

In order to fight against discrimination linked to physical appearance, the association La Cravate Solidaire has been supporting, since 2012 in Paris and since 2015 throughout France, people in (re)integration towards the accomplishment of their professional projects.

Transmit company codes to job seekers

"La Cravate Solidaire is an association whose objective is to transmit the codes of the company to people looking for work", explains Nicolas Gradziel, founding member and director of operations of La Cravate Solidaire.

For 10 years, each candidate has been able to benefit from "boosting" workshops which include individual support of 2 to 3 hours, but above all the gift of professional clothing adapted to their project.

Train volunteers to better support candidates

La Cravate solidaire wishes to extend its territorial network through the creation of new branches in response to an ever-growing demand.

"We also want to better support our candidates by training volunteers both on the specific issues encountered by our public, but also to awaken them to the specificities related to the professions towards which our public is moving", details Nicolas Gradziel.

The Europe 1 Trophies are a way for the association to gain notoriety "to ensure that all those who may need it know that La Cravate solidaire exists and is open to all free of charge".
