Zhongxin Finance, June 7. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security released the "2021 Statistical Bulletin on the Development of Human Resources and Social Security" on June 7.
It shows that in terms of labor and employment, there were 746.52 million employed persons nationwide at the end of the year, including 467.73 million employed persons in urban areas.
Among the national employees, 22.9% were employed in the primary industry; 29.1% in the secondary industry; and 48.0% in the tertiary industry.
In the whole year, 12.69 million new urban jobs were created, 5.45 million urban unemployed people were reemployed, and 1.83 million people with employment difficulties were employed.
In terms of social insurance, the annual basic pension insurance, unemployment insurance, and work-related injury insurance totaled 6,820.5 billion yuan in income from the three social insurance funds, an increase of 1,753.8 billion yuan or 34.6% over the previous year; the total fund expenditure was 6,268.7 billion yuan, an increase over the previous year. 510.7 billion yuan, an increase of 8.9%.
