Honda, an automobile manufacturer, has notified the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of a recall of more than 210,000 vehicles, saying that the engine may stop in the worst case of eight models such as the "N-BOX" due to a malfunction of the fuel pump.

The recall target is more than 219,000 units of eight models such as Honda's "N-BOX" and "N-WGN" manufactured from March 2018 to December of the same year.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, there is a problem with the resin impeller for sucking up gasoline in the pump of the fuel tank in the target vehicle, and it may be deformed if it is used continuously.

In the worst case, there is a possibility that the operation of the pump will be hindered and the engine will stop, and although there are no reports of accidents, there have been 68 cases where the engine does not start.

Regarding the defect of this part, Honda reported a recall to four passenger cars in March and May last year, and a subsequent company investigation revealed that there is also a defect in the target vehicle this time. That is.

As soon as Honda is ready, it will repair the target car free of charge through dealers nationwide.
