Yesterday, the South Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced the intention of "Renault Korea Motors" and five other car companies to recall about 42,000 cars, to repair technical defects and computer software problems.

Renault Korea Motors will recall 28,892 cars of two models, due to a problem with the fuel pump, which could cause the car to stop unexpectedly.

And the "South Korean Yonhap News Agency" indicated that this is the second time that the French company has recalled cars due to problems with the fuel pump.

The company recalled the cars for the first time because of this problem last July.

The "Stylantis Group", which includes the companies: "French Peugeot Citroen", "Italian-American Fiat Chrysler" and "German Opel", plans to recall 7,605 cars of 15 models, due to problems with the quality of the components of the high pressure pump.

And 4,056 cars of two models will be recalled due to computer software problems, which leads to a malfunction of the touch screen display, which can increase the chances of accidents.

In turn, Mercedes-Benz will recall 1,077 EQA250 cars, after they failed to reach safety standards due to problems with the airbag control unit computer software.
