The susceptible animals involved were 1,426 domestic pigs, of which 1,364 became ill and 934 died.

　　In order to protect the safety of my country's animal husbandry and prevent the introduction of the epidemic, according to the "Customs Law of the People's Republic of China", "The Law of the People's Republic of China on Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine" and its implementation regulations and other relevant laws and regulations, 1. 　　2. It is forbidden to send or bring pigs, wild boars and their products from Nepal into the country.

Once found, it will be returned or destroyed.

　　3. Animal and plant wastes, swill, etc. unloaded from inbound aircrafts, road vehicles, railway trains and other means of transport from Nepal shall be treated with decontamination under the supervision of the customs, and shall not be discarded without authorization.

　　4. All illegally imported pigs, wild boars and their products from Nepal intercepted by border defense and other departments shall be destroyed under the supervision of the customs.

　　5. Anyone who violates the above provisions shall be dealt with by the customs in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Customs Law of the People's Republic of China", "The Law of the People's Republic of China on Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine" and its implementing regulations.
