“Dutch gas trader GasTerra has decided not to comply with Gazprom’s requirements for unilateral payments... In response to GasTerra’s decision, Gazprom announced the cessation of supplies from May 31, 2022,” the statement says.
Earlier, Russia stopped gas supplies to Finland.
The Finnish Ministry of Employment and Economy noted that the reason was Helsinki's refusal to pay for gas in rubles.
On April 27, Gazprom announced a complete suspension of gas supplies to the Bulgarian Bulgargaz and the Polish PGNiG due to non-payment in rubles.
