China News Agency, Beijing, May 30 (Reporter Li Xiaoyu) The United States recently announced the launch of the "Indo-Pacific Economic Framework".

Yu Yi, a spokesman for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said on the 30th that the Chinese business community will continue to pay attention to the progress of the framework, and does not want to see artificially created economic decoupling, technological blockade, and industrial chain disruption, which will exacerbate the supply chain crisis.

Yu Yi said at a press conference on the same day that the topic of the "Indo-Pacific Economic Framework" does not include negotiating plans to reduce tariffs, nor does it include broad measures to remove barriers to market access.

The Chinese business community is artificial, and the success of the business community in the Asia-Pacific region benefits from open cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win results.

China is happy to see initiatives that are truly conducive to strengthening regional cooperation, initiatives that truly adhere to multilateralism and promote free trade, initiatives that truly promote economic development and solidarity, and initiatives that truly promote openness and cooperation.

Yu Yi said that the Chinese business community believes that in order to contribute to the prosperity and development of the region, relevant initiatives should improve transparency, maintain openness and inclusiveness, and be committed to promoting economic cooperation and solidarity, rather than discriminating against exclusion, let alone damaging and splitting existing mechanisms.

He said that the Chinese business community will adhere to open regional trade arrangements and further deepen pragmatic cooperation with all parties.
