China News Service, Beijing, May 30 (Reporter Li Xiaoyu) The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) released a report on the 30th saying that currently foreign companies are generally satisfied with China's business environment, and nearly 90% of foreign companies have maintained or expanded their existing business scale.

  The "Investigation Report on China's Foreign Investment Business Environment in the First Quarter of 2022" conducted a questionnaire survey on more than 400 foreign-funded enterprises.

The report shows that, from the perspective of foreign-invested business environment satisfaction evaluation, foreign companies have higher evaluations of China's municipal public infrastructure installation, promotion of market competition, and acquisition of business premises.

91.4% of foreign companies rated the installation of municipal public infrastructure as "relatively satisfied" or above, and 91% rated it as "relatively satisfied" for promoting market competition.

  According to the report, foreign companies are generally more satisfied with China's macroeconomic and regulatory policies.

88.1% of foreign companies rated "relatively satisfied" or above with regard to the supervision policies of large-scale platform companies.

  The report shows that, thanks to the continuous release of dividends from China's opening-up policy and the further optimization of the business environment, foreign companies are generally optimistic about new opportunities for China's high-quality development.

87.4% of the foreign companies surveyed maintained or expanded their business scale, and 72.1% of the foreign companies increased their capital in China by more than 5%.

Market and corporate strategy are the main reasons for foreign companies to increase capital in China, and the Yangtze River Delta is the main investment area for foreign companies.

  According to the report, in view of the improvement of the business environment in the future, foreign companies suggest that China should coordinate the normalization of epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, continuously improve the scientific and completeness of policy formulation, strive to create a level playing field, and enhance the confidence of foreign companies in the development; Implement policies to improve the facilitation of cross-border trade; continue to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights of foreign-funded enterprises.
