Israel still does not publicly acknowledge its responsibility for the elimination of Revolutionary Guard Colonel Sayyad Khodai.

But security sources quoted by the media do not hide their surprise at the leaks which allowed the publication of the information in the

New York Times

Demand an explanation from Washington

Israel reportedly intends to ask Washington to explain this.

This leak, it is said here, exposes Israel as solely responsible for this targeted attack and exonerates the United States which, in January 2020, had eliminated General Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the Al-Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards. .

In Israel, there are fears that the leak will reinforce Iran's desire for revenge.

Colonel Sayyad Khodai was killed last Sunday in Tehran by two bikers who fled.

On Tuesday, thousands of Iranians paid their last respects to the colonel, described as a "

 martyr

", with cries of "

death to America

" and "

death to Israel

".

The Mossad is changing its modus operandi?

Specialists in Israel point out that this is a change in the modus operandi used by the Mossad for its targeted attacks.

Firstly because the operation took place in broad daylight and above all because almost all of the previous victims of these actions were associated with the Iranian nuclear program.

Colonel Khodai was the deputy commander of unit 840 responsible for attacks against Israeli targets around the world.

And it is, we say here, a message that the Israelis want to send to Iran.
