China News Service, Guangzhou, May 19 (Reporter Guo Jun) On May 19, the airspace adjustment plan for the Beijing-Guangdong Passage was officially implemented.

This airspace adjustment involves a wide range of changes and is the most difficult one since the construction of China's civil aviation major air passage.

The reporter learned from China Southern Airlines (hereinafter referred to as "China Southern Airlines") that the adjustment of the airspace structure involves 70 routes carried out by China Southern Airlines.

According to reports, the Beijing-Guangzhou Corridor is the main north-south traffic artery of the national trunk route network planned and constructed by China Civil Aviation, with a total length of nearly 2,000 kilometers, connecting the two world-class airport clusters of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and radiating airport clusters in Guangxi, Zhanjiang and Hainan. , involving 8 million airports, has an extremely important strategic position.

The construction of the vast passageway in Beijing will carry out parallel and one-way transformation along the original route to realize the route characteristics of "two ups and two downs, one-way circulation", and then build an operation pattern of "separate coming and going, isolated operation", greatly The airspace resources will be increased, the existing operational pressure will be relieved, and the choice of routes will be more flexible.

The adjustment of the airspace of the Beijing-Guangzhou Channel involves 70 routes carried out by China Southern Airlines, 115 entry and departure procedures, and adjustments to 1,400 routes currently used by China Southern Airlines.

In response to this adjustment, China Southern actively assessed the operational risks of various types of flights, formulated the company's operational plans, obtained information from relevant parties in a timely manner, and made preparations for personnel training.

This time the airspace adjustment data was revised due to the large amount of revisions and the effective time for the intelligence data was tight. China Southern Airlines carried out various preparations in an orderly manner according to the plan formulated in the previous period.

Based on the establishment of a detailed checklist system and review process, the self-developed digital system tools are used to build a standard database for route comparison, and the accuracy of route adjustment of the flight planning system company is checked in batches to ensure the safety and reliability of flight operation data.

It is reported that the Jingguang Corridor is expected to significantly improve the airspace conditions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In the future, when passengers take flights along the Beijing-Guangdong Corridor, flight delays caused by flow control will be reduced, and the travel experience will be further improved. .

At the same time, the flight distance of about 1,200 routes currently used by China Southern Airlines will be reduced, and some routes can be reduced by up to about 150 kilometers to promote energy conservation and emission reduction in the aviation industry and achieve green flight.

China Southern will continue to increase the flight density of the Guangzhou hub and Beijing Daxing hub, and optimize the route network layout from the Greater Bay Area to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
