It is noted that the real exchange rate of the ruble against the dollar in April increased by 34.6% compared to March, against the euro rose by 36.4%.

The Central Bank added that the nominal exchange rate of the US dollar in April amounted to 71.0237 rubles.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the ruble became the world's best major currency in 2022 in strengthening against the dollar thanks to the introduced capital control measures.
