“Russian oil is 25% of EU oil imports, and for individual oil products the share is even higher.

For example, diesel fuel from Russia accounts for up to 70% of imports.

Local refineries, transport infrastructure are sharpened for Russian supplies, the logistics of supplies have been worked out, ”Galaktionov said in an interview with the Prime agency.

According to him, in case of refusal to import Russian oil, the transition to supplies from other countries will be gradual and will require more than a year.

Galaktionov also noted that the OPEC+ countries have almost exhausted the potential for increasing energy production, so they will not be able to replace Russian oil in European markets.

Earlier, political scientist Anatoly Ivanov, in an interview with the FBA "Economy Today", spoke about the possibility of the EU to abandon Russian energy resources.
