Fig King is located in Layika Township, Hotan County, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang. The tree is more than 500 years old and still has new branches year after year.
The canopy covers an area of 1.5 mu and the tree height is about 4 meters.
The surrounding new branches are intertwined, crawling on the ground, and spreading around, like dragons dancing, silver snakes coming out of their holes.
Recently, the reporter saw in Fig King Park that new leaves have grown on the dense branches, and some fig fruits have also been hung on the branches.
According to reports, although the fig king is old, it can still produce three crops a year, and fresh fruits can be eaten from June to October.
Such a long-standing, huge and vigorous shrub is rare not only in Xinjiang but also in the whole country.
