During the "May 1st" holiday that just passed, Cao Ganwei and Zhao Yang hardly rested. They drove the comprehensive inspection train on the high-speed railway to accumulate relevant data and driving experience.

More than 10 days ago, the two "post-85s" teamed up to create a world record.

On April 21, the new Fuxing high-speed comprehensive inspection train independently developed by China successfully achieved a single-train speed of 435 km/h on the open line and a relative intersection speed of 870 km/h on the Ji-Zheng high-speed railway from Puyang to Zhengzhou, creating a high-speed rail EMU The world record for the speed of the train's open-line crossing.

Cao Ganwei and Zhao Yang, drivers of the Zhengzhou Locomotive Depot of China Railway Zhengzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd., took up the task of driving the test train for the rendezvous.

At 12:53 on April 21, Cao Ganwei drove the 55368 new Fuxing high-speed comprehensive inspection train between Jizheng High-speed Railway Lujun Station and Weihui South Station, and Zhao Yang completed the 55319 Fuxing intelligent EMU train. rendezvous.

Being able to undertake this task is inseparable from the excellent business literacy of the two.

Since joining the railway system, Zhao Yang and Cao Ganwei have travelled 1.198 million and 739,000 km respectively.

Cao Ganwei, 34, has been in the railway system for 10 years, but only two years as a high-speed rail driver.

"I'm still a high-speed rail 'newcomer'." Cao Ganwei admitted in an interview that as a "newcomer" to participate in such an important test, he was under great pressure, for fear of failing the test due to personal reasons.

"The rendezvous time is 0.86 seconds, and the rendezvous speed is 870 kilometers per hour. To be honest, the car passed by before I could react. The speed was too fast." Cao Ganwei recalled the rendezvous scene that day. Before the rendezvous, engineers and technicians were waiting in the carriage. Everyone was silent, and with the successful meeting, applause and cheers broke out in the carriage, "I heard everyone say 'a world record'."

Zhao Yang, 35, has been a high-speed train driver for seven years and has extensive driving experience. Even so, he was nervous before the test.

"The speed of the train at that time was 435 kilometers per hour, and I had never run at such a high speed. It was impossible without pressure." Zhao Yang recalled, "In a corner, I saw the train driven by Cao Ganwei lit up from a distance. lights, but only saw a shadow of the car, and the two trains crossed, it was only a matter of a moment."

Although more than 10 days have passed since the test, Zhao Yang and Cao Ganwei are deeply proud and proud when recalling the scene at that time.

"I am proud of China's high-speed rail. As railway people, we have caught up with the best era. Scientific researchers have designed and manufactured the most advanced Fuxing EMU. Only when the car is good can we run the world speed." Cao Ganwei said.
