Movistar relaunches Fusión, a well-known brand that will gradually withdraw from the market to make way for miMovistar, Telefónica's new flexible and personalized offer, with a web configurator that facilitates contracting and allows products to be adapted to the specific needs of customers .

This configurator adds to connectivity and television the new verticals in which the company has entered, services such as

health, gaming and

home security.

Later, energy options (with Repsol), finance, insurance or those related to the vehicle will also be available in miMovistar, the entire range in which the Spanish multinational has been diversifying its business.

"The proposal is the natural evolution of Movistar Fusión, Movistar's reference product in the last 10 years, which paved the way for integrated offers with a single bill and marked the pace of the Spanish market", they explain in the company, which tries to respond to the demand for "flexibility and personalization" of consumers, who also want to "control costs".

Movistar sources consulted by EL MUNDO point out that trademarks must be renewed from time to time, despite the notoriety that Fusion has acquired in the Spanish telecommunications sector.

The packages that have worked in the past may collide with the fine-tuned search for services by new clients who, in some cases, may lower the price of their rate by getting rid of services that they do not really need and that until today were linked yes or yes to the corresponding Fusion package.

In other words, miMovistar trusts that the large packages will be maintained, those that involve the best ARPU (average revenue per user) in the sector, but at the same time it tries to get clients from other lower segments to add services at their convenience.
