“Obviously, Russian oil exports of more than 7 million barrels per day cannot be replenished from other sources,” Reuters quoted Barkindo as saying.
According to him, there are no free capacities on the market to fully replace Russian oil.
Earlier, US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm expressed concern that the imposition of an embargo on Russian gas supplies to Europe would lead to increased market instability and higher energy prices.
