A villa was sold for the record price of 30 million euros, on the shores of Lake Geneva (Haute-Savoie).
Located on the French shores, the 1,200 m² property includes a park of several hectares, a private port and 200 m of lake frontage.

Lake Geneva, a safe bet
The sale was carried out by the real estate agency of exceptional properties Barnes and a Parisian law firm.
The lucky buyer would be a foreign customer.
"This is the first time the €30 million mark has been crossed in the region," Barnes said in a statement.
On the other hand, sales above 20 million euros are quite frequent, in the case of exceptional chalets in the Alps, for example.
Lake Geneva attracts wealthy clients thanks to its exceptional environment and its proximity to Geneva.
