Derived from the Sanskrit language, the name Avinya means "Innovation".

With this model, the Indian manufacturer Tata wants to offer maximum well-being and peace of mind during transport via an extremely premium, yet simple and soothing “customer experience”.

This electric concept combines the essence of a premium sedan with the luxury and versatility of an SUV and the space and functionality of a minivan.

But that's not all: the Avinya focuses on "human-centered design and promises a sensory journey of its own".

To achieve this, passengers will enjoy a dome above them enhancing the overall sense of space and natural light, voice-activated systems, sustainable materials communicating product ethos, and finally a aroma diffuser, for those nostalgic for the Citroën C4 of the 2000s.

More surprisingly, this concept claims to anticipate a future trend by claiming that less screen time is the way to go.

The Avinya is therefore screen-free to avoid distractions inside the car and create a stress-free environment for mind and soul.

With it, counting red cars with an even number plate and blue cars with an odd number plate could therefore once again become the norm for long family trips.

More concretely, the Avinya will be based on a brand new platform which should be used for a whole range of other models.

TPEM plans to launch 10 new cars by 2026. The Avinya will be introduced on the market by 2025. Its autonomy should be at least 500 km.
