Ma Meiling, sales director of a catering company in Beijing: For example, the oil-braised chicken and the garlic-flavored braised platter, which are usually sold very well, have all made a series of set menus.

The number of takeaway orders at noon today has more than doubled from usual to more than 160 orders.

Beijing takeaway: I delivered 13 or 4 at noon, a little more than usual.

Beijing takeaway: The peak delivery period must be extended by one hour.

The delivery staff told reporters that they must hold a 48-hour nucleic acid test before they can start delivering meals, and each person is equipped with sufficient epidemic prevention materials every day to ensure the safety of consumers' meals.

During the interview, the reporter also learned that some e-commerce platforms have also urgently launched special projects for pre-made dishes to enrich citizens' home consumption choices.

Wang Cong, the person in charge of a fresh food e-commerce company in Beijing: In response to the needs of family customers, we have increased the categories of pre-made vegetables, including dozens of frozen vegetables, hot pot meatballs and cooking bags. It is expected that the supply will be available during the "May Day" period. There is a nearly 10-fold increase.

It is understood that in response to the possible surge in online demand for merchants, some takeaway platforms have also opened green channels for catering merchants to go online. Qualified merchants can complete online and manual review within 1 hour.

At the same time, a special distribution team was organized to ensure the platform’s 24-hour distribution capability, and additional distribution forces were assigned to some supermarkets and stores in key prevention and control areas.

Chen Yong, vice president of public affairs of a food delivery platform: Today, the number of food delivery orders on our platform has increased by 30%, and orders for supermarkets have also increased significantly.

However, compared with the previous few days, the orders of the supermarkets are relatively stable, and there is basically no large-scale purchase or stockpiling. Everyone is still very confident in the supply in Beijing.
