For the first time in three years, we are celebrating a long holiday with no restrictions on the behavior of Korona-ka, and major beer companies are increasing production of commercial beer in an attempt to capture the movement to reopen the beer garden and the demand for leisure activities.

At Meiji Jingu Gaien in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, the famous beer garden, which was closed last year due to the influence of the new corona, started operations from the end of last month for the first time in three years.

At the venue, the number of seats was reduced by 10% compared to before the spread of the infection, and in order to avoid contact with employees, while infection control measures such as ordering food on smartphones were taken, visitors were enjoying beer.

A male customer in his 60s said, "I've been waiting for you. I hope the day when you can enjoy delicious beer under the blue sky will continue."

Major beer companies have announced that this month's production plan for commercial beer will be about the same month last year, saying that the beer garden will be reopened in earnest, and that there are no restrictions on behavior during the long holidays and demand for leisure activities can be expected. We have increased it from 3 times to 5 times.

However, compared to three years ago, which was before the spread of the infection, each company still stays at about half, and whether or not to further increase production wants to judge by looking at future infection trends and the degree of recovery in food service demand. ..

Kenta Someya of the Sapporo Beer Chiba Factory said, "The number of infected people is unpredictable, but I hope that more and more people will enjoy eating out while taking measures against infection."
