Here we go again for the conquest of the moon from Israel, but this time after the failure of the first mission, it will be a partnership between the Israeli space company SpaceIl and the

United Arab Emirates

.

This represents an additional step in the

many collaborations

that follow the Abraham Accords signed between Israel and several Arab countries.

This new mission will be called Beresheet 2, the Hebrew name for the Book of Genesis.

Several scientific projects will be deployed

At a cost of $100 million, the smallest spacecraft ever made will be sent into space.

A module should land on the lunar surface while the orbiter will continue its journey for at least five years.

Several scientific projects will be deployed.

One of them should make it possible to determine with great accuracy the times of the new moon.

On April 11, 2019, a first Beresheet probe was placed in lunar orbit, but it

missed its landing

and crashed on the lunar ground.
