Already marketed in the United States, the Lucid Air wants to position itself a notch higher than the Tesla Model S. Indeed, by using 3 electric motors, the most powerful version could have 1600 hp and thus do even better than the 1.9 s of the Model S Plaid to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h.
Other more reasonable variants are of course offered, with a basic version of “only” 620 hp and two other strong Dream Edition Performance or Range versions of 1111 or 933 hp.
In the USA, prices start at around €81,000.
In an interview with Autocar, Lucid Motors is said to have confirmed via its spokesperson that sales in Europe of the Air model could begin next June, starting with Germany.
