“This pilot project will look at gas and electricity needs, prices and flows, and infrastructure aspects,” the EC said in a statement.
It is noted that the working group will focus on the coming year and "provide specific regional experience and know-how" to develop and implement an action plan to reduce dependence on Russian energy resources, fill storage facilities ahead of winter and further accelerate the decarbonization of the energy sector."
