On the 25th local time, the official website of the Glide Foundation said that this year's Warren Buffett's charity lunch will be auctioned on eBay at 7:30 pm on June 12th and will last until the end of June 17th, with a starting price of 25,000 Dollar.

Raised $34 million over 20 years
The first auction of Buffett's charity lunch began in 2000 and has used eBay as an auction platform since 2003, and has so far raised $34 million for the Glide Foundation.
Buffett's lunch has been suspended for two years due to the pandemic.
According to the Glide Foundation, 2022 will be the last Buffett charity lunch auction.
"We can expect Warren Buffett's last lunch auction to deliver yet another new high," said eBay CEO Jamie Iannone.
This year's winning bidder will be able to bring seven guests to lunch with Buffett at Smith & Wollensky's steakhouse in Manhattan.

The highest transaction price reached 4.57 million US dollars
As a high-profile luncheon all over the world, Buffett's lunch is not only regarded by business elites as an opportunity to learn and communicate with "stock gods", but also an excellent opportunity to prove his financial strength and even make headlines.
Over the past 20 years, there have been Chinese faces among the bidders who have lunch with Buffett.
For example, fund manager Zhao Danyang, chairman of Tianshen Entertainment, Zhu Ye, and TRON Justin Sun took pictures for charity lunches in 2008, 2015 and 2019, respectively.
Zhao Danyang, known as China's "Godfather of Private Equity Funds", said Buffett has dispelled some of his worries and doubts about investing.
Zhu Ye, who was late for an interview at lunch, called Buffett himself "very humorous."
Justin Sun bought lunch at a record-breaking price of $4,567,888 in 2019. Later, he claimed that he was unable to attend the appointment due to sudden kidney stone treatment. Netizens accused him of excessive marketing and keen hype.
Buffett's Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire Hathaway will hold a general meeting of shareholders on April 30, the Glide Foundation said.
