In the end, the Shanghai Index closed up 2.49% at 2958.28 points; the Shenzhen Component Index closed up. 4.37% to 10,652.90 points; the ChiNext Index closed up 5.52% to 2,269.17 points.
Over 4,000 shares in the two cities rose, with a full-day turnover of 917.7 billion yuan and a net purchase of 4.360 billion yuan by northbound funds.
