In 2021, Ford sold just under 70,000 Mustangs worldwide.

A figure that obviously does not include the Mach-E electric version.

Naturally, the Mustang sells best in the United States.

Nearly 75% of sales are made there!

That said, other markets are developing strongly.

This is the case for New Zealand (+54.3%), Brazil (+37.3%) and South Korea (+16.6%).

However, 2022 started in a completely different way.

During the first 3 months, sales fell by nearly 19%.

Anyway, with 13,986 units sold, the Mustang remains far ahead of its main rivals, the Dodge Challenger (11,124) and the Chevrolet Camaro (6,710).

Results all the more deserving as the current Mustang is at the end of its career.

Camouflaged mules of its replacement (which should remain faithful to the V8) have already been seen here and there.

The new Ford Mustang is expected later this year.
